Since April 2019, he´s performing his role as Research, Development and Innovation Director at SPANISH FOOD AND DRINK INDUSTRIES FEDERATION BEBIDAS (FIAB) (FIAB) and as General Secretary of the Food for Life-Spain Technological Platform, the biggest Spanish technological platform of the Agri Food/FMCG sector, promoting hundreds of RDI projects.
Since November 2021, he´s the current coordinator of the NFTPs network that involves the National Food Technological Platforms of Europe. Since October 2023, he´s the coordinator of the Research and Innovation WG at FoodDrinkEurope as well.
He participates as a speaker in conferences and seminars, courses and postgraduate masters.

Anne Charlotte Mornington
Anne Charlotte is an experienced startup operator with eight years of experience in a tech for good startup Olio, an app focused on reducing food waste by enabling local communities and businesses to share surplus food. Olio has 7.5 million user accounts and has raised £42 million. From founding team member to two years post Series B, she has worked on impact, strategy, operations and commercial roles. She is currently working on an agricultural soil mapping project and supporting organisations in a consulting capacity.

Klaus Jørgensen

Danish Agriculture & Food Council is an organization that includes both farmers, food companies and agro-industrial companies. There are over 20,000 farmers and 400 companies. I have worked with food waste since 2006, when I first put numbers on food waste in Denmark.

He is an experienced project manager with a focus on participatory approaches, networking, the conception of sustainability strategies and the management and implementation of long-term sustainability projects. He combines his holistic, entrepreneurial way of thinking with his expert knowledge of sustainability issues in the food sector.
Markus holds a BA in International Business and an interdisciplinary Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Basel.
