BREADCRUMB at the Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026 in Dublin

The BREADCRUMB project was represented at the Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026 (GBS2026), held on 20–21 October in Dublin, Ireland, through the participation of project partner PNO Innovation Spain.

The summit brought together international experts, policymakers, researchers and industry representatives to exchange knowledge, explore collaboration opportunities and discuss the future of a sustainable and circular bioeconomy.

As a Gold Partner of GBS2026, PNO Innovation was actively involved in the event, welcoming visitors at its stand and promoting several European-funded projects, including BREADCRUMB.

Raising awareness of BREADCRUMB and its research

Throughout the summit, BREADCRUMB promotional materials were distributed at the PNO Innovation stand, providing visitors with information about the project’s objectives, activities and research on the relationship between food marketing standards and food waste.

The event offered an opportunity to increase the project’s visibility, engage with relevant stakeholders and encourage knowledge exchange around sustainable food systems, resource efficiency and food waste reduction.

Within BREADCRUMB, PNO Innovation Spain leads Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation (CDE), supporting the dissemination of project results and engagement with stakeholders across Europe.

Participation in GBS2026 contributed to these efforts, helping bring BREADCRUMB’s research closer to the wider bioeconomy community.
