BREADCRUMB General Assembly Held in Porto: A Key Milestone for Project Progress

The BREADCRUMB consortium gathered in Porto for its General Assembly, hosted by project partner MC Sonae. The two-day meeting brought together representatives from all 21 partners to assess progress, share findings, and coordinate upcoming actions across the project’s work packages.

The agenda included updates on the modelling framework, suboptimal food valorisation, policy reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities—along with valuable discussions around the Food Marketing Standards Interest Group and communication strategies.

This milestone meeting was a great opportunity to reaffirm our shared mission: reducing food loss and waste in the primary production stage by rethinking food marketing standards and enabling more sustainable food chains.
