Exploring the Link between Food Marketing Standards and Food Waste

On November 18 we held our second webinar with the interest group, building on the data collection done thus far led by our VLTN colleagues.

A key focus of the discussion was the relationship between Food Marketing Standards and Food Waste, where hypotheses on their interplay were thoroughly explored. These insights will help identify the food marketing standards most relevant to food waste generation, paving the way for targeted strategies to mitigate waste and improve sustainability.

To guide the discussion, VLTN employed questions using a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Strenghts), encouraging particpants to share their perspectives and contribute to a deeper understanding of this complex issue.
