Slovenian Partners Bring BREADCRUMB to the 62nd AGRA Fair
From 23–28 August 2025, BREADCRUMB Slovenian partners showcased their innovative work at the 62nd International AGRA Fair in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia. Recognised as one of the most important agricultural and food fairs in Central Europe, AGRA is a hub for innovation, sustainability, and rural development.
Our partners ITC – Innovation Technology Cluster, Mensana, Green Point – Short Food Supply Chain, and Vila Natura presented their contributions to the BREADCRUMB project, focusing on:
- Reducing food loss and waste
- Promoting suboptimal food
- Strengthening short food supply chains
The fair also provided a valuable opportunity to engage with other stakeholders and hear directly about their challenges, particularly regarding food marketing standards. These exchanges not only deepened our understanding of real needs in the sector but also reinforced the importance of collaboration in developing solutions that truly respond to practice.
With thousands of visitors expected, AGRA 2025 is an ideal opportunity to highlight practical solutions for building a fairer, more circular, and sustainable food system.
