BREADCRUMB at Food 4 Future – Expo FoodTech 2026

PNO Innovation Spain, partner of the BREADCRUMB project, represented the project at Food 4 Future – Expo FoodTech 2026, held in Bilbao on 27–28 May 2026.

The event brought together companies, technology providers, researchers and other stakeholders from across the agri-food sector to explore the latest developments in innovation, digitalisation, sustainability and food technology.

As a BREADCRUMB partner, PNO Innovation plays an active role in communicating and disseminating the project’s work, engaging with stakeholders and helping connect BREADCRUMB with the wider European food sector. Participation in Food 4 Future provided an opportunity to present the project’s objectives and approach while exchanging ideas with organisations working towards more sustainable and resilient food systems.

The event also highlighted the importance of collaboration across the food value chain. By engaging with industry and innovation actors, BREADCRUMB continues to strengthen connections between research, market needs and practical solutions for reducing food waste and increasing the business potential of suboptimal foods.

Through participation in sector events such as Food 4 Future, PNO Innovation helps bring BREADCRUMB’s work closer to the stakeholders who can contribute to, and benefit from, the transition towards more sustainable food systems.
