BREADCRUMB at Fruit Attraction 2026 in Madrid

The BREADCRUMB project will be represented at Fruit Attraction 2026, taking place from 6 to 8 October 2026 at IFEMA Madrid, Spain.

Project partners Lehmann Natur GmbH and AINIA will be at the event, one of the leading international meeting points for the fruit and vegetable sector. Their participation will provide an opportunity to connect with stakeholders across the fresh produce value chain and share BREADCRUMB’s work.

Fruit Attraction is a valuable platform to exchange perspectives on food waste, food marketing standards and the potential of suboptimal foods. Through its research and case studies, BREADCRUMB is exploring how marketing standards can contribute to food waste and identifying approaches that can help food chain actors reduce waste and unlock new opportunities for food that does not meet conventional market specifications.

The participation of Lehmann Natur and AINIA will help raise awareness of the project, exchange knowledge with sector stakeholders and strengthen connections towards more sustainable food systems.
